WHAT I OFFER

I offer therapy to help you resolve emotional distress and interpersonal conflicts, for example, in your relationships, family or work.
I offer both short-term and open-ended therapy.
Individual therapy: the aim is to gradually identify, understand and resolve emotional distress using different psychotherapy techniques.
Group therapy: the aim is to gradually identify, understand and resolve emotional distress within a group setting where you share similar difficulties with others.
The group setting will help you feel less alone in experiencing difficulties and will help you reflect on your difficulties from different perspectives.

Supervision
I offer clinical supervision to psychologists and mental health practitioners in both individual and group supervision sessions.
Supervision is a space for professional and personal development. It helps provide a high quality service to your clients and ensures your professional development.
In supervision, areas of your professional development that I will support you with include:
  •  Reflecting on the therapeutic relationship with your clients.
  • Identifying blind spots in the therapeutic alliance with your client which might create obstacles in therapeutic progress.
  • Reflecting on your SOCIAL GRACES and your professional development.
  • Developing your methods of practice.

Speciality
An area of special interest for me is psychodrama and I qualified in group therapy and psychodrama at The Institute of Dynamic Orientation Psychodrama (IPOD PLAYS) in Rome (Institute director: Ottavio Rosati).
What is psychodrama?        Psychodrama is a group therapeutic technique developed by husband and wife Jacob and Zerka Moreno at the Beacon Institute, New York in 1925.
Psychodrama is an action method focusing on the therapeutic importance of images, actions in the space, associated with words.
The action method facilitates the development of your true self through role-playing, action, the therapeutic encounter and catharsis.
Within the group, members become author, director, spectator and critic of their own story. In this therapeutic and transformative space, you have the opportunity to explore and process emotions, experience catharsis, develop a better understanding of yourself and your potential, and begin to express freer and more creative realities.
